It simultes a feeling of satiety or 'fullness' by sending a message to the appetite centre in the brain which in turn reduces appetite. The three primary ingredients in the SLIMist  formulation are totally natural and have been successfully tested and trialled, producing outstanding results in improving weight control. 
This product contains three ingredients which are Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA), Chromium and Levocarnitine (L-Carnitine).
HCA
Hydroxycitric Acid, is extracted from a rare fruit grown in South East Asia called Garcinia Cambogia, more commonly known as a fat fighting fruit. HCA has been shown to reduce appetite, inhibit fat synthesis[1] and decrease body weight without stimulating the central nervous system.
When foods are eaten carbohydrates are digested and broken down into glucose. Molecules that are not immediately are stored in the body's liver and muscles as glycogen or are converted into fat with the help of an enzyme called ATP-citrate lyase. HCA inhibits this enzyme, decreasing fat synthesis and causing biochemical changes in the liver that favour fat burning and glycogen storage.
Its does not work on the central nervous system and does not cause changes in heart rate, blood pressure nor interfere with sleep]. It simulates a feeling of satiety or 'fullness' by sending a message to the appetite centre in the brain that says, ' you don't need to eat anymore'.

Chromium is a vital molecule in regulating carbohydrate metabolism by enhancing insulin function for proper use of glucose in the body. Chromium is an essential mineral - that is, it is not made by the body and must be obtained from the diet.

   Levorcarnitine is responsible for maintaining energy metabolism throughout every cell in the body. L-Carnitine assists in the transport of essential fatty acids through the cell membrane and into the mitochondria within the cell, where these fatty acids are burned to produce cellular energy
