Information - Weleda Haemorrhoidal Ointment
Haemorrhoids produce varying degrees of pain, feelings of pressure, itching, irritation and a palpable mass. In women, the single most common cause is pregnancy. Because of its astringent qualities, this ointment is also an excellent cream for itchy bites, etc.
Use
Apply morning and evening, or as directed.
Ingredients
Tincture, % w/w equiv. fresh plant juice: Borago officinalis, leaf 2%; Calendula officinalis, flower 5%. Decoction, % w/w equiv. dry bark: Quercus robur 0.5%. Extract, % w/w equiv. dry plant: Aesculus hippocastanum, bark 2%; Hamamelis virginia, leaf 5%; Oil extract, % w/w equiv. dry plant: Calendula officinalis, flower 1.96%; Equisetum arvense, herb 0.95%; Rosmarinus officinalis, leaf 1.8%. Lavender Oil 0.4%; Pumilio Pine Oil 0.5%; Rosemary Oil 2%; Zinc oxide 5%
