Use Famvir Once to treat recurrent outbreaks of cold sores. A convenient tablet treatment for cold sores that blocks replication of the herpes simplex virus from inside the body. It reduces pain and tenderness and speeds healing. No creams necessary. Use
Adult dosage 1 dose = 3 tablets. Take as a single dose with or without food. Swallow whole tablets with a glass of water. Take all the tablets in this pack as a single dose as soon as possible after the first symptoms or signs of a cold sore appear (e.g. tingling, itching or burning, redness or swelling.) Do not delay treatment. The virus is most active at this time, and you should see the greatest benefit from taking FAMVIR ONCE early during a cold sore outbreak. Do not repeat treatment within 7 days. Ingredients
Each tablet contains famciclovir 500mg. Famvir Once does not contain lactose, sucrose, gluten and tartrazine. Important Notes
Famvir Once is not intended for use in patients under 18 years of age. It should not be used if patient has been treated with Famciclovir in the last 7 days. Not to be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Not to be used in people with impaired renal (kidney) function or by those who are immunocomprimised and diabetic. |
