Information - Daktarin Oral Gel
Daktarin Oral Gel is a broad spectrum antifungal product. It has been specially formulated to treat oral thrush in infants, children and adults.
Use
Adults and children: Half a spoonful four times daily.
Infants (under 1yr): One quarter of a spoonful four times daily.
Ingredients
Miconazole 20mg/g.
Important Notes
Not suitable for use in those with a hypersensitivity to miconazole. May react with warfarin. Concomitant anticoagulants or phenytoin should be monitored. Discuss with pharmacist if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking medication for allergies, or anticoagulants, diabetes or epilepsy.
Adverse Effects: Gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea and vomiting. Diarrhoea with long term treatment.
