Information - Cromolux Eye Drops
Cromolux Eye Drops are used to treat allergic eye conditions such as hay fever and conjunctivitis, which are conditions that can cause itching, redness, discomfort and watery discharge from the eyes. This medicine contains sodium cromoglycate, which works by acting on certain cells to prevent them from releasing substances that cause the allergic reaction. Cromolux Eye Drops are the generic version of Opticrom Eye Drops.
Use
Adults and Children: Instil ONE or TWO drops in each eye FOUR times daily or as directed by your doctor.

Each pack of Cromolux Eye Drops contains 10ml of Sodium Cromoglycate 2% w/v
Important Notes
Precautions: Do not use Cromolux Eye Drops if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Cromolux Eye Drops if you are allergic to sodium cromoglycate or to any of the other ingredients (benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate). Do not use Cromolux Eye Drops while wearing soft contact lenses. If the seal on Cromolux Eye Drops is broken or damaged do not use. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or worsen for more than 2 days.
Adverse Effects: Generally Cromolux Eye Drops are considered to be safe and low in side effects. As with other eye drop preparations, you may occasionally experience eye irritation or visual blurring after initial insertion of Cromolux Eye Drops. If this persists or increases, or if you notice any other changes, stop using Cromolux Eye Drops and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not drive or operate hazardous machinery while this persists.
