This formula enhances your weight-loss efforts and contains special ingredients that assist the metabolism of fat, protein, sugar and other carbohydrates, facilitates cellular fat breakdown, replaces nutrients that are often low in weight-loss diets supporting energy production from the metabolism of food and helps to reduce cravings for sweet foods that can develop due to dieting. Your metabolic rate is governed mainly by the brain and the thyroid gland. Blackmores Metabolism Advantage contains the herb Coleus forskohlii, which is a digestive stimulant. Its active constituent forskolin may support normal thyroid function and metabolism. Many weight-loss diets are often low in nutrients that support your metabolism, like folic acid, magnesium, iron, vitamin D, zinc and some B vitamins; many of these nutrients are also involved in energy production.
