Treatment for scalp disorders such as psoriasis, dandruff, seborrhoea, eczema and pruritus and the removal of pastes and ointments used in the treatment of psoriasis. Also provides temporary relief from eczematous symptoms. Leaves the hair clean and lustrous.

The hair should be wetted and sufficient Polytar Liquid applied to produce an abundant lather. The scalp and adjacent areas should be vigorously massaged with fingertips. The hair should then be thoroughly rinsed and the procedure repeated. Use once or twice weekly.

Polytar 1% (Tar BP 0.3%, Cade Oil BPC 0.3%, coal tar solution 0.1%, Arachis Oil Extract of Coal Tar 0.3% BP), oleyl alcohol 1%; pH 5.5.

Polytar liquid shampoo is to help with the treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis, scaling and itching of the scalp. It provides temporary relief from eczematous symptoms, leaving the hair clean and lustrous.

Thoroughly wet hair. Apply enough polytar to produce a lather while massaging into the scalp. Rinse out and repeat. Use as required.
