Phenergan

Phenergan Elixir provides relief from allergies. It is effective in treating allergic rhinitis, hay fever and allergic reactions to insect bites and stings. It is also effective in preventing and treating the symptoms of travel sickness.

Allergies

2 to 5 years...5 to 15 mL

6 to 10 years...10 to 25 mL

Over 10 years...20 to 50 mL

Taken as a single dose at night or divided as 2 equal doses per day.

Travel Sickness

Dosage as for allergies.

The lowest dose may be taken the night before travel, otherwise take 1 to 2 hours before travel and repeat in 6 to 8 hours if required.

Active Ingredient: Each 5ml contains Promethazine Hydrochloride BP 5mg.

Please note: Use for children under 2 years of age requires a prescription of a doctor

Do not take during pregnancy without medical advice.

Be cautious about driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery within 8 hours of taking this medicine. Avoid other products containing alcohol

Phenergan 10mg is a long-acting antihistamine  for the relief of allergies including hayfever, allergic or itching skin conditions(e.g. eczema, dermatitis, hives); allergic reactions due to insect bites and stings and the relief of nasal congestion due to the common cold. This product contains the active ingredient Promethazine Hydrochloride 10mg.

Adults: 1 to 2 tablets 2 to 3 times daily.

Children 5 - 10yrs: 1 to 2 tablets daily.

Children 3-4 years old - use Phenergan Elixer.

Active Ingredient: Promethazine Hydrochloride 10mg.

This medication may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.
